I'm wondering if anyone has used good reader (or another specialized pdf app) with both ipads and whether they noticed any differences. In particular, I like to read articles with dual view so that the text is very small.

Will the iPad 3 be any better for that? Does the iPad three make small text clearer? Do pdfs load any faster?

Thanks,

Huge difference esp. with GoodReader's latest update to support the new display. I use it for magazine PDFs in portrait mode. If it's just text and you use landscape to see 2 pages at a time, you should be good.

I just tried 2 page mode in landscape view with a text heavy PDF. Is it readable? Yes, though the text is very small, but it sounds like that's what you're expecting.

Also, editing documents in portrait mode is almost a dream come true. I've been using Goodreader with a stylus and love the improvent of the retina display.
