Since upgrading to 10.6 my PDF reader does not display any toolbar when I open an internet PDF in a popup window.

It just opens the PDF in a window with no toolbars. There is no search or print option etc.

If I then install Adobe Reader 9 and tell it to use that for internet PDF files, the same window opens as before.

It was fine before installing SL.

After opening the PDF (in Safari, I'm assuming?), go to View > Show Toolbar.

If you are opening a PDF in a pop-up window there is no toolbar option at all.

I have even installed Adobe Reader and 10.5 used to use that for opening PDF files. Now, even with that option set in Adobe, SL still uses its own reader and there is no toolbar option for PDFs that you open.

If you are running SL, open this PDF test document http://www.dataton.com/gear/pdf/3467.pdf See no toolbars and no way to make Adobe reader open it by default.
