A while ago, I wrote a free app to do all sorts of PDF tasks like merge, split, compress, protect, unlock, OCR, rotate, resize, and even camera to PDFs.

Now, an update version has been uploaded to App Store with support for Redaction as well as enhanced support for PDF encryption.

The app is still free, no subscription, no ads, no tracking, no need to upload your PDFs to the internet.

Tips (thru IAP) are totally optional which won't affect any of the features, no ads, no tracking.

Fantastic. However, I couldn't work out how to do "Step 2 - Arrange Order" of a Merge.

I've been trying to make a "better Preview" for the Mac for a while. (E.g. doesn't auto-save; doesn't have a limit of 14 windows; better workflow, etc.)
It's still very much in its infancy, but I use it everyday as my main PDF viewer.

I've also written python scripts which accessPDFKit, to be used as Quick Actions/Services in the Finder. I've ported some of them to Swift, too. (which also works as a scripting language!)

One thing I find very useful when Merging PDFs is to make each incoming file an item in the Table of Contents.
