having current version of stanza installed is one known cause of this, possibly also documents to go.

edit: looks like yesterdays documents to go update fixed that one, so just stanza left. Unless other apps that support 'open in' for pdfs are effected too.

I've deleted stanza in itunes, synced my ipod, and reset it...still no luck. All PDF's in my mail are still showing up as 1 page images after I download them. Anybody got any more suggestions? Thanks for the help.

I think pdf's that mail has already rendered won't reset, test with a newly mailed pdf.

Thanks for the reply, but I've tried mailing a new pdf, and it still is showing up as an image. I'm confident I've done something wrong, since it this has worked for everybody else, but I can't pinpoint what it is.

Same thing happens to me if I try to open a PDF from my native mail app, even if it is a newly-sent PDF. You should see the first page and if you click on it, it says "save image?" However, if I go into my gmail via Safari, I do get the option to open with a bunch of different apps. Seems like I will be using the web-based version of my gmail for now.

For some reason, I woke up this morning and my native Mail App is no longer showing the PDF as just a front page image anymore. It actually has the file now and allows you to "preview" it and "open in..." if you click and hold.

I have my gmail attached onto my Mail App. I wonder if this is due to something Google changed?

Has anyone got a list of apps that are causing this problem?

I've deleted the apps mentioned, resynced and reset still no luck
