PDFs open in Adobe Reader, not Preview (within Safari)

I tried going to Library->Internet Plugins, but nothing is there.

I much prefer Preview, it's much faster...

You need to remove the plugins that Adobe Reader installed (AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin eg) here:

/Library/Internet Plugins

instead of here:

username/Library/Internet Plugins

In other words, check the Library folder at the root of your hard drive, not the Library in your user folder.

Can I still be logged in on the user profile and get to it through Finder? I don't know how to access that.

Been trying to figure out why this wasn't working for hours and finally stumbled across this....feel so stupid now! Created an account just to say this....: THANK YOUUUU!
