I'm sure you have all heard of windows freeware like Kazaa, is there andy GOOD program like this for macintosh? I already have limewire and it really isnt that great. Is There any others??
If you use 10.2, check out Aquisition. Go to www.xlife.org to download it, its pretty good. It will ask you to pay for it ,but just keep ignoring that window.
This the program that was recomended to me by my brother. I have no idea how to use it though. However, I do know that it is not p2p. I think it is called DirectConnect. Anyway, go to this web page to download it:
i'm not a big file-sharer unless it's for free/uncopyrighted material or evaluation purposes (although sometimes i evaluate things longer than i should ) but i love to see things come to the mac that my windows friends thought were some kind of amazing killer app for the pc. i have not used it yet, but a friend of mine swears by it, it's called bittorrent and you can find the osx binary at http://bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/download.html
im not much for getting on peoples cases here, but there are like two hundred threads on p2p programs for the mac and they all have the same answers, why dont you just look it up in the search on this site already or go to versiontracker and look for yourself.
oh and in my opinion all of the peer programs right now, on both windows and mac, suck ass big time. p2p may not be dead, but it is sure hibernating.
My ISP has a killer newsgroup with like infinate bandwitch...
I was wondering if there were any newsreaders that can download...
MY ISP's one has like anything to everything.
