Hey, I would like to know if their are any Peer to Peer Mac based programs that are free.

I took a look at some of these in the recommend program thread.

Acquisition Xlife $20 Native Mac interface on top of Limewire's P2P Core
Mojo Deusty $10.95 Allows you to connect to your friends' iTunes library over the Internet or local network and download songs.
Transmission m0k Free Lightweight BitTorrent client for OS X
Xtorrent Pro xtorrentp2p.com/ Xlife $20 Powerfull BitTorrent client for Mac

Acquistion looked pretty cool as well as mojo anyone have any other suggestions.

There are quite a few depending on what kind of content you want.

You don't need to pay for Mojo unless you want to subscribe to your friends iTunes libraries and receive automatic updates. As for torrent clients, I'd recommend uTorrent for Mac. Its still in Beta but definitely worth a try.

I personally like Transmission and uTorrent Mac Beta. I don't think limewire is the preferred method of P2P these day, rather it is bittorrent.

Transmission is best. Azureus (Vuze) is slow and bloated (but has lots of features), Limewire is full of fake files, malware, and other unwanted things.
