Hi

I just purchased a Pegasus J4. The performance is great and I am very pleased with it in that regard.

Unfortunately I have a small problem when hooking up my DVI monitor via thunderbolt to dvi adapter.

The chain is Macbook pro --> J4 --> External DVI monitor.

The problem is that upon boot up, my mac switches (changes to a blue screen for a second) the laptop screen to the main screen, but then switches back immediately. It repeats this problem atleast 4 more times before it finally switches to my monitor and STAYS on my monitor.

Is there any reason why this is happening? Should I do a firmware update?
Thanks.

I would guess that the Pegasus is "booting up" and not providing a clean pass-through during that process, but that's a question for Pegasus to answer. They should be able to advise you whether that behavior can be corrected or if it's just the nature of the product.

I presume your model MBP has just one TB port?
