Just got my first mac ever, my 2.5 MacBook Pro and decided to go with matte. I know it really just comes down to personal opinion and what you are going to be using it for, but I really think the matte fits the computer better. I know a lot of people will disagree, but I actually think the glossy screen cheapens the look, and makes it feel like a MacBook.
