Started using mine about 2 years ago and love it. I just grab my phone now and go. I like carrying less stuff on me.

Never had any issues with it accidentally detaching. The pocket is starting to get a little loose, may need to get a new one eventually.

I use a Moft wallet / stand. Perfect for 13 mini. I have it propped up on my desk all the time. "Floating mode" gets a lot of use too. The wallet also provides grip, which is really nice on a caseless phone. Oh and it holds my cards, almost forgot.

nah can't imagine using that. it doesn't hold enough to be useful and MagSafe isn't very strong. the last thing I want is to be dropping my cards sliding my phone in and out of my pocket all day. Still stuck using a big old folding wallet for my license, cash and Apple Card

Strength of MagSafe can be very different between wallets. Mine’s very strong, no issues there.

By now sounds like I’m doing a paid ad, I’ll add that the Moft wallet in dark blue vegan leather is quite ugly and it’s wearing along the creases 😅

I got my first one a month ago and haven’t quite figured out whether or not I like it. Going to peruse the comments here to see what people are doing (@Itsedstech photos inspire thought)

I just bought one during the Black Friday sale a few days ago, so yes?

One feature I love on the one I got is that it also acts as a kickstand in both portrait and landscape mode. That is nice.

Got one for public transport cards and other one which has no wallet feature but it’s a nice stand to take pics, mostly on night mode

I stopped using it because it only holds two cards. That means one credit card plus ID. If they make one that holds four cards it’s an instant buy for me. One credit card for everyday use doesn’t work for me
I’m in the same boat. Wish Texas would go to digital ID and I could carry 2 credit cards.

I use mine all the time. 3 cards: credit, drivers license, and car key. Only thing I don't like is having to detach it to put the phone on a charging pad.

I am in this position. At the moment I can't say I like the look or feel in the hand. It's currently back in the box, but I shall also monitor the comments here.

I use mine all the time, and I put three things in it: my driver's licence and provincial health care card (both mandatory to carry where I live) as well as a credit card that I swap regularly depending on what I would be spending on for the day, in case contactless payments go offline for any reason. I totally hear others in this thread about having to pull it out to put the iPhone on a MagSafe charger, but that's a minor inconvenience compared to not having to worry about carrying those three essential cards when heading out.

Why? Every state that has digital ID requires you to carry your physical license. It isn't a valid form of ID to law enforcement and only accepted at a few airports by the TSA. That may change in the future but now it's really not a replacement for the physical ID..

I almost never carry cash now & usually just go out with my iPhone (no cards) locally - UK is very well catered for with contactless now.

If I'm going further afield, or on a work overnight stay, where it'd be much more difficult to be stuck without a second means of payment then I'll take my Drivers Licence and company credit card in the MagSafe leather wallet.

Why? Because I am prepared to move on to having digital ID be a valid form. Why is the regular ID so much better than a digital one in your perspective?

I no longer use my APPLE Magsafe wallet but I love Magsafe wallets and was amazed to find they have actual 3rd party wallets with "Find my" built and and it is amazing and so much better that the "Find my" that was built into the official wallet that is just a "Last seen at"

I only carry a couple cards: health/auto insurance, drivers license, and a credit card and will often set my wallet down somewhere and spend forever trying to find it. This works just like an Airtag and takes me right to it.

Can't believe Apple let third parties lap them like this. They opened "Find my" tech to third parties and didn't bother to include it in their wallet.

Hmm I'm easily able to remove all 3 of my cards. I have two credit cards and a license but maybe they're thinner?
I’m not sure. Both were genuine purchased at the Apple Store. I thought about buying maybe a third party version but haven’t tried that. No metal cards just plastic cards without raised numbers. I had a trick where I would fold a dollar bill to use to pull the cards out, but that was a pain as well. I hated having to struggle trying to get my card out while someone was waiting to check me out.

Yeah, that will happen when pigs fly. I absolutely love Texas, but I don’t see them going high tech

Hmm mine are also the plastic type. I guess maybe it also stretched out a bit with having 3 cards in? I can’t remember how it was when I first got it but I don’t recall it being a struggle.

If you are interested in them, you could try it again but maybe just leave 3 cards in for a day to see if it loosens it up?

It’s safe to assume people aren’t using their magsafe wallet, if it’s the finewoven variant 😜

Because it isn't a valid form of identification. It won't be acceptable for quite awhile. Give me one credible source that can state when it will be accepted nation wide

You are way too deep my friend. I simply stated I wished Texas would go digital ID and allow me to not carry one extra thing and here you are wanting to argue. It’s not that deep. Why can’t I wish something would happen without having some weirdo come after my every word?

ID, transit card, debit card. I love my MagSafe Wallet and although the fit was beautiful on my old 13 mini it’s still great on my current 16 Pro Max.
