whoo... this one got a bit off topic. I fixed the typo, it was pretty obvious, I just wasn't paying attention. Oh, well. IH8Quark obviously is associated with some type of text work, given the name. Just for the record, I have been a copy editor at times, and I just don't care when I'm around here, just trying to make a point.

So CompUSA here, is out of towers and mostly everythng else, I guess I was wonderig if anyone had seen similar runs on hardware?

Similar things have been happening down at my local Fry's Electronics.

The other day there was a lady from Apple demoing the 22" Display with the dual-Ghz tower. Droool.....

This is what was left at the Apple part of the store :

1 iPod (5GB)
3 eMacs
2 LCD iMacs (2 were bought while I was there!!)
2 CRT iMacs (1 was bought while I was there!!)
3 Towers (1 was bought while I was there!!)
1 TiBook
1 iBook

Lots of families were coming to check out the LCD iMac. A younger couple was also eyeing the Cinema Display.
