There have been alot of nice helpful people on mac rumors to help those of us who are NOT computer savy. I can do more now than I could a few years ago but still, I'm not like most of you who talk computer lingo and can get in there and fix things or figure things out. Simple things to most of you, make NO sense to me. I'm trying but I rarely have issues that come up.
I do alot of internet searching to find answers but sometimes the answers are not there to be found so I come here.
I have had some people basically call me "stupid" and one person who asked why I was asking strangers a certain computer question HERE??? REALLY???
Isn't the message board here to get help or offer help? Hmmm..... guess I just think differently. I have always tried to help people who need it if I knew the answer and I NEVER think any question is stupid. ALL OF YOU have been there at one point in life. You were NOT born knowing everything. Have people forgotten that?
Or are people just getting more rude? I accept rude people and then just let it go on by - they are just idiots but they are still dang irritating. Just because I don't like to see them treat other people that way also.
So if you don't have anything productive to say or can't be nice, then why don't you just NOT post back - good idea uh? I think so.

The only two recent threads you posted in are:

Hooking into a desktop at work? (May 15)
http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1582913

Using too much data (May 17)
http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1583775

I don't see any rude behavior on those threads.
OP, if those are indeed the only threads you've posted recently, I agree that there was no rudeness there. Are there threads that were sent to Wasteland perhaps?
BTW, if we all can manage to tell grown ass men and women what to buy, how to manage their personal relationships, how to dress, and where to live, then we can certainly answer a question about a computer. ;)

Our lives are not defined by the things that happen to us, but rather by how we react to those things.

It's not always easy to take the high road and not engage when confronted with rudeness or bullying or whatever, but it does make us stronger people when we do.

Well said except it doesn't apply here. Looking at the guy's posts and replies, it doesn't appear he is being bullied, at all.

That's why I said rude or bullied because some users also get bullied in the forums while some only experience rudeness. I wasn't trying to imply the OP was bullied, just generalizing.
