what happens if you dont register a week or whatever after using it? does functionality shut down or is it just a splash screen?

When I used it, it was just an annoying splash screen each time it started up. It also did not allow you to save any of your adjusted settings.

my favorite feature was being able to use the 4 (or was it 3?) finger guesture to switch desktops.
