Yeah.... man IE 5 and Windows Media Player:Mac... those were stunning.

Windows Media player:Mac was great , I couldn't figure out how to completely get it off of my computer, I think I finally got it off when I reinstalled Tiger to revert back to 10.4.7

Well I frequently jump into XP via Bootcamp and I'm reminded of what I left behind all those years ago. The funniest one is the recurring "Hardware found!" message.

First, it picks up my EyeTV USB dongle. To my surprise it instals and runs fine.
Windows needs a format (non-removable spyware and virus)
Second time. doesn't pick up EyeTV.
Third time lucky. Picks up EyeTV. can't install drivers. hardware message pops up every bootup now, I show it the drivers but it doesn't want to use them.
System is also taking longer to shut down, up to 4 minutes sometimes. This is with AVG. Games crash often, mostly HL2. IE7 sucks, as does FireFox (nothing like Safari on XP ). Fast GUI though, pity about everything else.

It's just a crying shame that I need to use XP still. I'd be so happy without it. (this is coming from me, PC user from 1996-2004, Mac since)

On that same note, I can't stand the mac only people either. I think its pretty ignorant to say that "Macs are the best, PCs suck" or vice versa. Both platforms have their place. For me though, Macs work better for my daily productivity uses. This includes working with PhotoShop, GarageBand, Word, and SubEthaEdit. Now thats not to say that I can't do the same stuff on PC, but I've had better (MUCH better) luck with multitasking on my macs than on any PC I've worked with. And I've worked on some pretty high end PCs.

I've used both, and I honestly think PCs DO suck, though! The whole mac/pc arguement's been gone over too many times, but I do think macs beat PCs for most tasks.

Its ok to think they suck, I just think its dumb to think that they suck at everything. Both WinXP and OS X have their ups and downs, it just so happens that for myself (and most everyone here) OS X fits us better.
