If you think things are bad, it's only going to get "worse" each day until Friday. I used the "" because it's all fun to me. Will I go crazy if some people get theirs on Thursday and I don't? Maybe.

The bottom line is if you don't like how excited we are and more excited we will be, don't open those posts. Easy.

I think you forgot about which "gate" we will
get... Battery, antenna... It amazes me that it usually happens before my phone is delivered in launch day. ;)

Why bother coming to a site where excitement over a new iPhone, iPad or whatever is the norm and quite acceptable, only to spew your recriminations on others? This is exactly the place for people to revel over these things and don't need newbies like you to try to make them feel bad.
 
Is it wrong that these forums are part of the reason I get excited for a new phone release?

I get all caught up in the frenzy of trying to track down exactly when my phone ships, using every trick I've learned, or others have come up with to get my tracking info long before Apple sends it to me or it shows up on the website, then painstakingly trying to deduce which flight it left China on, and which UPS/FEDEX hub it was going to.....then OUT FOR DELIVERY!!!!

Haha....It's probably silly, I know. But it really is part of the fun. All the while, watching everyone lose their friggin mind whenever someone else has something they don't yet....like a tracking number....then everyone finding patterns regarding which phone/carrier/size/color combination shipped first or region, or time ordered.....anything that makes any at all sense.

Yeah. It's Apple Christmas time. Lots of fun. ;)
 
Here's some suggestions for alternative thread titles:

What clothes are you going to wear on release day?
Boxers or briefs when ordering online? I wore boxers
What are you going to eat before heading to the Apple Store for pickup?
Anyone else going to throw a release day party?
Is it OK to start a campfire in front of the Apple Store the night before release day?
Planning to camp out in line the night before. Does Apple usually supply porta-potties in the parking lot?
Had diarrhea at 11:59PM, ended up with a shipping date of 12/1. Can I sue Apple?
