I received my iPhone 6 on launch day, and immediately placed it in a case with a screen protector. I got the case for $2 dollars on promo (http://smile.amazon.com/BoxWave-iPhone-Case-Almost-Nothing/dp/B00M8GK16W/). Even today, 2 months later, my phone is perfect. No scratches, no dents, no broken glass. How many others are in my situation?
I removed my 6 from the Sedio Surface case yesterday to check it out and it is still pristine. The 6 is what I had hoped the 5/5S would have been and the best iPhone to date.
This is the story that the large majority of iPhone owners could tell. Except they won't, because people typically only speak up when something goes wrong.
Perfect quote. I had my first 6 replaced because of excessive light bleed and yellowing that bothered me. My second one appears to have slight yellow in one spot, I'm not sure, but I'm not going to get a perfect anything. As long as it doesn't interfere with my usage I'm fine. Nothing is perfect. Although Apple could stand to test their screens more rigorously, I don't expect complete perfection.
Case and screen protector went on my iPhone 6 before I walked away from the counter in the Verizon store. I don't even have a mark on the case or screen protector, let alone the phone itself.
I've got a lighter spot at the top edge of my screen near the wifi symbol that I'm gonna use later when yields are better to get a new phone before my warranty runs out. If you have a "perfect" phone you can't do that.
My 5 was pristine after 2 years of every day use. To date my 6 is still perfect and operates flawlessly. So far I'm a pretty happy customer.
Next iPhone will have micro sensors that measure space between the front and back of the phone, and immediately let Apple know when the phone's shape changes. Easy way to document when it bent. No more I got it like this claims
My iPhone 6 plus is in pristine condition having a case and screen protector on it since oct 9th when i finally received mine.
Mine is perfect BUT I don't use it like I used my 5. I have even left it at home in a few occasions! That would never happen with my 5.
I've got the exact same case for the exact same price. Combine that with a tempered glass screen protector (that didn't line up exactly like I wanted...) and things are great! I have like $7 in my case and protector. That doesn't mean I'm not looking for a little more protection in a case it's just what I'm using right now.
