How is performance for M1 Mac? Battery life?

I don't want my new Mac to be slower or sluggish not even a millimeter less then Monterey.

I don't want my new Mac to be slower or sluggish not even a millimeter less then Monterey.

If you don't want less then Monterey then wait until Ventura is released officially. It is beta software and might have all kinds of things slowing it down still. Right now it feels good but there is zero guarantee that it will work well on your machine.
You are not meant to be a beta tester if you want it all!

12.x runs fantastic on my M1. Not slow or laggy one bit unless you open the music app.
