Performing a clean install and having Bootcamp

Simple question:

Here is my setup:

Hard drive 1: Mac OS
Hard drive 2: Windows (installed via Bootcamp)

If I do an Erase and Install of Mac OS on drive 1, will my Windows drive still show up if I go to System Preferences > Startup Disk?

Is it 2 separate HDs or 1 HD with 2 partitions on it? If it's the latter,

Yes, just make sure you click on the Macintosh HD partition when you erase it. That will just erase the the Macintosh HD partition. If you click on the full HD it will erase the entire HD.

Yes it should because it scans your disk for bootable partitions. It will see the windows partition.

If all else fails you can always reboot with the option key being held and select the windows partition then.

I have two separate physical drives. There is only one partition on either (each drive is fully dedicated to the operating system).

Well then I think you could just fully erase the Mac HD.
