Perian Help Please

I have a new MacBook and I downloaded Veoh TV. When I downloaded Veoh TV it said I needed to download Perian to play certain videos. And I downloaded Perian Version 1.2

The problem is I don't think it's working. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. And whenever I try to watch videos on my Veoh TV it says I need to install Perian.

I just bought my mac and was previously using a PC so I am still new to the Mac and am unsure if I installed it wrong or something.

I would appreciate any help.

Perian's installation is pretty straight forward. Look in system preferences, and as long as there's a Perian icon in Other, then I'd say you installed it right.
