Shouldn't Perian decode MPEG video recorded via EyeTV? This is basically the stream capture.

How is this an issue? Elgato supports the EyeTV on the Mac?

Understood, but what if I want to output the .eyetv file to an MPEG Stream and view or transcode it with a 3rd party product?
