    Howdy,

I downloaded Perian so I could view FLV files with quicktime. When I save as, it will save them as a .mov file. When i upload the video to my iweb portfolio, I get this message ( only with the those changed from FLV to .mov) all other videos are fine.

    Thanks for any input

Why are you changing flash files into mov files?

It was by accident, but then I realized I cannot put FLV files on iweb.
Or atleast I thought you could not. On my MacBook Pro, I can view them, I cannot on my Macbook. Just realized that.

Do you have Perian installed on both or just the MBPro?

Just the MBP. I thought seeing it's changed to .mov that shouldn't matter.

I think you need to actually Export them from QT rather than just Save As ...

Sounds like all you have done is saved it in a .mov container. You actually need to transcode it to something like H.264.
