Hi

I have a problem with my other internal hard drive, It wont let me delete any files from it saying i haven't got enought privileges to move the items.

Yet i have set sharing and permissions on the drive so me the admin and everyone can read and write to the drive.

What is the best way to set this up as i also share this drive with my macbookpro?

Thanks

I think you can do a get info on the drive and check the ignore ownership on this volume box.

Cheers,

I haven't got that option.

Really, you are trying to access a non-boot volume and it doesn't offer the little check box when you right click the volume and select get info?

Mine does. I wonder what's different. I'm running 10.4.11 on a MacPro 2.66 and both internal and external non-boot volumes have this option.

Cheers,

can anyone else help me out with this as i cant even delete files from my own hard drive!!

thanks
