I am trying to clone my Windows external drive with Winclone
* Cloning Error: Error setting permissions on device /dev/disk4s2*? On the Windows drive.
When I try Volume to Volume it says the same thing about the drive I am cloning to
Another thing is any time I am trying to do those things on Winclone it goes into the spinning ball and takes time before it gives me the errors?
How do I get the Permissions on the drives?
I know Windows is not very popular with you M1 users, See my post here.
I don,t think anyone is going to answer this. :(

What format is drive? Is it an NTFS format or FAT 32? Windows can tricky in USB connection sometimes (unless you bought the professional version of Windows that could do it!

The Windows bootcamp is NTFS The one i tried to put it on is Fat32.
I have got the key for the Windows drive but not put it on there yet.I changed the other drive to MS DOS no good :( There must be a way of changing the Permissions.

Windows sometimes gets wonky on not seeing other formats than NTFS, especially the Home Version of the software! If you have bought the Professional Version of 10 then you might save the data on that drive and reformat that NTFS!

I have the exact same problem under latest Mojave and Winclone 8.0.2

Talking about Winclone have you had any succes doing anything with it?it seems very few do.
When i tried to use it when i had bootcamp on the internal drive it mentioned about block size? I am not a tech person. :( I did put the two questions on Tims Winclone forum.I did not get any reply,s.:(

In your Preferences try turning off Block-Based imaging. I got it working under High Sierra and Winclone 7.3.4. Then i made the clone Legacy Bootable under Tools and all is well now √
