hey guys,

I have been moving a lot of mac accounts around between my macbook pro and my new mac pro. I also use bootcamp on both computers depending on my workflow...

... currently it seems that I do not have a good grasp on my read/write permissions on my mac folders... i often network my two macs to share files but i've been getting "you do not have permission to save this file" or "you do not have permission to open this folder"... and when in bootcamp i can read from a mac folder (using macdrive) but it won't let me resave it in that folder (it used to)

... I currently have both macs on a public network... how best to set up my permissions or whatever so that I can access and read/write everthing but it isn't vulnerable?

thanks,

r.
