Our enterprise users require persistent wifi or they won't receive calls via cisco jabber clients. Has this been corrected on iOS 8?

I don't have specifics but I wake my iPhone from time to time and it's not connected to my wifi.

I'd imagine it's persistent when WiFi calling is activated (where available). As for normal usage, I think it still sleeps when the device has been in standby for a certain period of time.

Or even with wifi calling it could be relying on push to send you the notification, and only connect through wifi when you take the call?
