I got a phone call today from some guy at Apple saying that he is my "personal Apple Sales Assistant." He asks me if it is correct I had interest in purchasing a PowerMac G5. I had to think for a moment, and the I remembered I had one saved in my cart at apple.com before the new iMacs came out. I guess they saw I saved it and hadn't moved yet and also that I ordered the iMac on the phone, so it isn't linked with my apple.com account. Anyway, he said he is here for me to ask any questions and to keep me informed of promotions and whatnot. He asked if it was okay to send me emails as well, so I said sure. I like to encourage Apple marketing, even if I am on macrumors.com everyday. :p

I should ask him if he knows when MacBook Pro 17''-ers are comin out, hehe.

Yeah, same with me. I had an iBook in the cart last June/July and I got a few emails from them.

that's pretty funny! I've saved a few carts in the past, myself, so I'll be waiting for my own call
