Personal hotspot icon change

Hello everyone,
I have an iPhone 5 and an iPad 2 WiFi. I was able to use my iPhone as a hotspot for my iPad, but when I connect it, instead of the WiFi signal strength curves, it shows 2 linked chains. Is it possible to change the 2 chains to the WiFi icon? Any help is appreciated.

No, there is no option for the user to change that icon.
Only if you're jailbroken you can change the default system icons.

Oh good, all you need to do is locate where the icon is saved or change it either manually or by using winterboard or dreamboard or any other theming package.
