Personal hotspot missing suddenly

The option to for personal hotspot has disappeared from my settings menu of my iphone 4s.
Can anyone please advise on what might have caused this?
I upgraded to ios6 quite a few days ago and had no initial problems.
Thanks for any advice.

Does your carrier allow that feature?
If they don't they removed it when you upgraded when the carrier settings updated.
