Anyone have ANY suggestion, other then LACIE? I can find some drives, but none seem to be portable.. I mean, since I'll be lugging it around everywhere, I'd appreciate it to be freaking portable :)

    Thanks!

Ps: Preferably available on the apple store.

Edit: Perhaps a sugestion on HDD + enclosure?

"Vantec Nexstar 3" is a decent enclosure. You have the option of getting any interface on it (USB2, FW, eSATA), and it is just slightly larger than the actual HDD that you put it in.

The advantage of this series is that, for portability, you can get a 2.5" drive enclosure instead of 3.5" if that works better for you.

Just picked up a WD Passport 250Gb portable HDD from BestBuy for $149.99.

Awesome drive. Look into it - I did a bit of research and it defiantly seems to be the frontrunner for portable HDD's.

Also comes in 120 and 160GB versions.

PS - you won't find a portable drive that is 7200rpm - not yet anyway. All portable drives are 5400rpm.

Woosh, that's bad news then... Any 'best' choices for a slightly less portable 7200RPM HDD? (It really has to be 7200)

    Thanks!
