I noticed that I can make a smart playlist where the genre is "podcast" and get a huge list of podcasts. The problem is that MOST of the contents of this smart playlist are podcasts to which I no longer subscribe AND the files can't be found.

The files don't show up under the Podcasts heading in the Library. They ONLY show up in smart playlists. This is gumming up the works and I want to get rid of them.

Can you help, please?

Eureka! You can delete a file from your library even when you're doing it THROUGH a playlist by pressing alt/option and delete on the Mac.

I'm sure glad THAT was published somewhere. Honestly. Apple can be so frustrating sometimes.
