Afternoon, my simple smart Home knowledge has failed me prior to purchasing Philips Hue Bridge.
I cannot as yet consider any other Bridges if there are any in u.k.
As I can view hub and e14 smart bulbs being widely available to order from most retailers.
From Curry's website- one of my used retailers -what is this that's required in addition to Hue Bridge

Connectivity - Zigbee Light link via Bridge (sold separately)
- Internet connection required

I have No idea where to find a Zigbee Light Link
Is that essential before I could purchase Bridge+two e14 smart bulbs.
I hope to make use of Apple Home Kit from Appl;e4k t.v. And use maybe iPad Pro+IPhoneXs to control light bulbs if possible.

Thanks in Advance!

Hi. I’ve read your post four times and I just cannot for the life of me work out what you’re actually asking or wanting... it could be me missing something.

What do you actually want? Or what do you want to buy?

My question is from Currys website
Philips Hue Bridge for smart home bulbs
Connectivity requirements states correctly that the bridge needs to be connected to internet (it uses Ethernet cable)
Also needs Zigbee Light Link.
Iv'e no idea what or where to find such a Zigbee light link.

Description
Zigbee is an IEEE 802.15.4-based specification for a suite of high-level communication protocols used to create personal area networks with small, low-power digital radios, such as for home automation....

The Philips hue bridge uses the zigbee protocol for communicating with the hue light bulbs. No need to buy anything extra. Hope this helps

Enjoy. The Philips Hue system is great and integrates seamlessly into Apple HomeKit. My house is kitted out with their lights and sensors and, whilst expensive, you can get some great effects.
