hey guys,

does anyone know if there is a way for mail to send text messages to your phone notifying you that you have an e-mail. i know that facebook does that for their users, so its not as if it is using the internet (my plan doesn't allow me to have internet access, hence, why i can't check e-mails). any suggestions?

You might be better off having your email provider sending you a text, or an email (your#@yourcellprovider.com). I'm not sure about mail doing this, since I'm sure it assumes you're in front of it if it's on. Either way, it's just a reader, not the provider.

I know Gmail, FuseMail, and Yahoo do this, I'm not sure about the others, since I really don't use any others.
