Phone App doesn't work..

I recently jailbreaked my 2g 2.1 iphone with quickpwn.. everything went well except the actually phone application wont work - when you click it, the number keyboard pops up, freezes for a couple seconds, then goes away.
My last resort to fixing this is restoring it, but i wanted to ask around to see if theres any other way around this.

If anyone has had this happen before or has any advice, it'll help a loOOt!!

Yeah same goes with me I'm just going to keep unjailbroken for now.

I figured it out!! just uninstall Kate.

Jailbreaking causes issues like this from time to time. Restore it and hope there wasn't any major damage done
