Not sure what you checked exactly, but I'm holding my 4S and my 5 side by side. Both look great. But the 5 looks better.

Sorry, couldn't resist taking a shot at Apple. Just return it. They've had 2 years to get this phone right. Hopefully with all the returns they'll get the message that consumers won't accept anything just because it has an Apple logo slapped on it.
