has anyone else had this issue where suddenly you relieve a VM without ever getting a call? It's been happening to me several times in a week with me and is really starting to freak me out.. who knows how many people call and don't leave a message...

Yes, this happens a lot with the iPhone. My guess is that the phone is "busy" getting an email update when a phone call comes in. I have had this issue since iDay and it is not a signal issue.
