    Hello all,
I recently started a new job which has spotty service. Essentially my phone cycles through 3G, LTE, and no connection states several times a minute. This ends up draining my phone extremely quickly. It can go from 100% charge to 20% in literally a couple of hours.

This is at a gas station so there's no wifi to connect to and I need to use the phone to stay in touch with my family. Not to mention, I often work night shift and the phone is the only source of entertainment for me. I am required to stand at the counter the whole time and there are no plugs anywhere there (company policy) so I can't keep it plugged in and charged. I am 100% positive this is the issue as it only arises when I am at work, if I have my phone at home with steady access to a tower it works fine. Please don't blame the victim.

    Anyone have this problem?

Yup. Had this at my office until we got Wifi this year (thank goodness!). I could be at 100% charge in the morning and literally be dead by lunch with light to moderate use. Many of us resorted to turning cellular data off (at least we could talk & text). Nothing kills a smartphone battery like a crappy data signal.
