phone dropped in water!

So I dropped my phone in the toilet! Ya i know you have heard it time and time again. It was under water for mere seconds so far the screen is still workin both the touch and display. the home button was working but now is not and when i hit the volume buttons it says the headphone are plugged in. what so i do first...

i didnt turn it on it was on from the get go i turned it off

Just do the rice anyway, since sometimes people get it working after. Most are screwed though.
