Like why are the names companies give phones getting so long? I combined the names of some phones for the comedic effect to show my point (and exaggerate a bit):

Onesung Goople Motowei Magivo 19gtrsfeax Play Pro Plus Max Ultra Edge Air Fold XL 5G

The name makes the phone distinctive, For example the name "iPhone" separate the iPhone from all other cellphones.

However, I have no idea what Apple chose the name "pad" for a tablet. Sometimes I cannot help but to laugh when I think about the meanings and commercial uses of "pad" in the English versus French translations. 🙂
