iPhone Phone performance boost after removing Spotify app

I have had my Spotify installed since 6s (plus) release and the app used a very lot of storage. Since there is no remove cache button on iOS I decided to reinstall the app to gain some storage. Now my phone feels a completely new device. It can't be right? Must be placebo?

Ddi you just delete and reinstall the app and that's it, or did you perhaps restart the device as well, or something like that?

How much free space did you have before deleting and reinstalling the app, and how much do you have now?

Placebo. It wouldn't make sense for the app to deteriorate performance unless you had really low storage before you deleted it.
