I am looking for a porgram,

That I plug in a phone line in to my G3 imac (NOT VOIP) and use the computer as a caller ID and a speaker phone, I know this sounds like its hard, I have used google, but to comes up with voip apps, and that's not what I am looking for, This imac has a modem (That's what i want to use) and a mic and a sound system.
Thanks

P.S I had a app like this on my win PC a long time ago, I forgot what it was called

I don't know what its called, but I know that if you have the official apple modem, it shows caller ID by default (or at least it did when I tried)

k, Well I have the modeom bulit in the the imac, as thats how it was made, but my tv box from bell does CID, so i use that know, at the moment as my phone does not have it, so yea later thanks

IIRC, most Apple OEM modems have not supported telephony for many years. The number of apps have also dropped significantly. The few remaining telephony apps that I know of are Phlink, CoMa and PhoneValet
