I'd like to see them defend their actions should they choose to delete files off my computer. The iPhone EULA might permit their backdoor use, but I sure as hell wouldn't agree to that when dealing with a software application such as iTunes.

This is just a wild guess, but I would assume it would just remove it from your iPhone and then block it from being installed so the app file itself would still be on your computer hard drive
