Hello,

I’ve experienced another strange issue with my iPhone 6s Plus. This time I was playing a simple game, and the app suddenly closed. At first I thought the game wasn’t optimized and ignored it. But after I opened notes and started scanning some documents. The app suddenly shutted down, and the scans weren’t backed-up. This seems really strange: the phone is nearly new (7 months since I bought it). I know that it’s an older model and it has been waiting in the store since it was produced, but I don’t expect this low performance on a relatively new phone.

After the problem with the battery I last commented on my older post, I’ve been looking forward to searching a way to give it back to Apple and have an iPhone 7 Plus: it is actually the same price as the iP6 Plus when I bought it. Is there any way to achieve this? Looking from a certain point of view they don’t loose any money, and they even replace to new phones when they have problems such as hardware ones. I wish you guys could show me a way.

Thanks.

Sell the phone and go buy the 7+. Seven months in, only thing Apple will do is replace your 6S+ with another one. Your mistake was to choose the 6S+ over the 7+ especially if there was no difference in cost.

Apple is not going to upgrade your phone. If it is broken they will repair it. Could be a crappy app that is closing on your device and not the phone's fault. If you phone needs a new battery, Apple will replace it when they have stock.

The 7+ now costs the same as the 6s+ when I bought it. Of course at that time there was like a 150€ difference. Of course I would have gone for the 7+ if there was no difference.

Hello again,

Well, I think I'm going to take both advice and not try to replace my iPhone with a new one and instead changing its battery. I know that it may be a problem because both old battery and iOS 11, but I will consider even buying a really good Android next time.

Thanks 😀
