I also have a defect

I made an account just to put my two cents. The case feels great from the short time I've had it (a day). The sad part is I got a defect :(. The Micro-USB port is defective and loose. Sent a full report to customer support so they can send me a replacement. Hopefully I'll hear back from them within the day. I told them I hope this isn't a normal occurrence because I know that micro-USBs can have a lot of problems with the connectors.

I can report after multiple charges and constant use for over a week, the case has settled in and I am getting very close to 120% battery. I usually start charging when I get down to the 30-35% range. I can get to 100% and have 3 of the 5 bars of battery left. I can then let it get down to the 50% range and get another full 100% charge. I haven't tried the 40-40-40% pattern that Mophie recommends though.

Overall I am very satisfied. I have given my Mophie to my son and moved on from them. Again, the ability to use my headphones without an adapter and also play music through USB in my car with my case on is the reason I prefer the case. I do prefer the overall feel of the Mophie in hand but thats easy to get past.

We are not talking about that. Read the title.

Funny thing:
First one I got from the company had a bend in the plastic. They sent a replacement that was perfect. I then tried bending the plastic back in place and it looks normal. They did not want the defective case back. I have 2 of these now for free. (Reviewing on amazon). I'm happy. Excellent case as well.

What's the purpose of reviewing the same case from various resellers? Like seriously give other people a chance to apply and test let's be real you don't need 4-5 battery cases to test when they are all the same.

I think you are talking to me...
It's like saying, you don't need 5 iPads be they are all the same. I have 3 of the same exact battery case from 3 different companies names on them. I got these as samples for review. I think your jealous ;)

Well after praising this case to no end, my usb connector began to get loose after only 2 weeks. You had to wiggle it to charge. I sent the case back and re-considering my options.

Came in just few days ago - will try to post first impressions soon.

Do not buy

I received the PhoneSuit Elite for iPhone 5S today, could not fit any headphones into it, the gap allowing access the headphone jack is too small for 90% of headphones. Straight out of the box the PhoneSuit logo was in the wrong place : diagonally above the LED's I had to peel it off and stick it back in the white plastic cutout where it was supposed to be, top part comes off when you take your phone out of your pocket. Very bad customer service hotline, no response to e-mails...
Bought an elite iPhone 4S case from them that had a faulty USB connection, I am reading posts about people having the same issue. Will i wait 2 weeks to see the usb connector fail again?
The problem is I have to pay shipping (40$) to return a falsely advertised headphone jack connection battery case, when i already paid shipping (40$) once.

PhoneSuit Elite Battery Case for iPhone 5/5S

The logo sticker was also misplaced on mine (albeit not as bad as yours). Not knowing at the time that it was indeed just a sticker, I kept the product box entirely sealed, took a pic and immediately emailed PhoneSuit support. They responded very quickly and said to "move the label into the slot, it should stick on". And so far it has.

As for the rest, the top clip does not seem as poorly designed as it was on the PhoneSuit iPhone 4 (which is the main reason why I had eventually dumped it for a Mophie).

I'll post more after extended period of regular and daily use.

^ ugh! Such an idiotic label branding... What was wrong with the one they had before, nothing.

Our review is up if anyone is interested in knowing a few details here and there. Can't post a link myself though. :)

I know the rule on self promoting but it does apply to the thread. I would say its fine.

PhoneSuit Elite Battery Case for iPhone 5/5S

The PhoneSuit Elite Battery Case for iPhone 5/5s is an excellent battery case that is well designed and powerful.

Pros:
-2100mAh battery inside to charge your iPhone with (I have gotten 120% extra battery life with this battery case which is excellent)
-Charges an iPhone at 1 amp/5 volts and can charge the battery case using the provided micro USB cable or your own at 1.5amp/5 volts
-When charging the battery case, the iPhone charges to 100% first then the battery case charges
-Easy install and uninstall
-Large cutout for the camera and flash
-Buttons are easily pressed and the buttons are exposed
-5 LED bars on the back to indicate how much power is left in the battery to charge your iPhone with (each LED stands for 20% of the battery)
-Easy to start and stop the charging of your iPhone (press and hold the power button on the back for 3 seconds to stop and start the charging)
-Apple Certified/MFi (Made for iPhone) Certified (no certification errors come up when using this battery case)
-Can charge/sync your iPhone with iTunes with the battery case on the iPhone
-1 year warranty from date of purchase
-Can auto stop charging the iPhone when it reaches 100% (instruction manual states it will stop charging the iPhone when at 100% and idle for 10-15 minutes)
-Nice design that fits in a hand very comfortable
-Very small lip to protect the screen when the screen in facing down on a table/surface
-Allows most right angle headphone plugs into the headphone jack (most other battery cases do not work with right angle headphone plugs)
-Detailed instructions
-High quality

Cons:
-Does not work with oversized headphone plugs
-difficult to slide the silent switch without using a fingernail
-micro USB port does not look like it will last unless taken care of
-Expensive compared to other Apple Certified brands

This battery is case is a great choice and I highly recommend it.

5/5 stars.

I was supplied a sample for test and evaluation, and I promised that my review is fair and honest.

I have a video but I am not allowed it post it here on these forums. Please request a PM for a link.

Been using the case for some days now.

In my first "full recharge" experiment, I went from 4% to 80%, e.g. from full case charge (5 LED's) to 0 LED left. Will repeat again tomorrow.

I did another test and so far I went from 17% to 100% in less than 2 hrs! With 2 LED's left.
