Photo app sync even when closed with M1

On my previous Macbook Pro I had to open the photo app and let my computer on to have my photo syncing.

To my surprise my photo library synced while I never opened the app before during the night. This was a pleasant surprised as it usually took around a week to sync my 37k+ photo library

I thought I did but maybe you are right. But I did not even open the photo app once and it was still a lot faster than on my previous macbook !

The 2020 Intel MBA took 2 weeks to recognize all faces of my 120k+ photo library while the M1 MBA took 2 days...
