Is there a way to make the screen not flashing while im taking a picture in photo booth with the built-in iSight of the macbook?
its because im seeing the photo and i hit the take picture button, but the screen flashes even if i reduce all the brightness, so the colors are altered and the result is different to what i saw first, but i cant find where can i change this preference? i sometimes cover the screen physically but not always is possible
or maybe a photo booth alternative?(taking a photo from the terminal isnt my choice because there is no image which show me a preview)

I don't think you can change it to not flash the screen, the flashing of the screen is made to be like the flash of a camera.

Photobooth Alternatives:

Funny Photographer- free
FreakShow- shareware

they have this option and don't use the screen flash

you could also use iMovie.
