Photo Booth: Disable Flash

....so yea. Is there anyway to disable the white screen "flash" when using photo booth? sometimes I like the darkness in the picture and the whitening of the screen is too bright. Tried looking on apple.com section but couldnt really find anything. Thanks 🙂

follow up stupid question: How do you turn the screen off? If I just push the power button in the back, it puts the imac to sleep? 😕

Hmm I've never thought of turning it off.

system preferences>displays>display tab>brightness bar.

or... f1-f2 to lighten/brighten the display.
