Is there anyway way to fix this as it is irritating to have to quickly watch all the videos to see which ones they are.

Photo Booth video icons are green

This is caused by a QuickTime plugin you have installed, probably. I've seen this same problem with certain videos - QuickLook previews them as green screens but they play just fine. I fixed it by installing another plugin (Perian) alongside Flip4Mac WMV - that did the trick.
