Hi!

So after a week of reading reviews, I've come down to these 2 models : Dell U2723QE or LG 32UN880-B

Reason? Price. I would love higher quality display but I can't afford them right now. Right now, where I live, they are practically the same price.

Honnestly, the Dell seems to be better from what I'm reading but it's a 27 inches. I currently have a 32 Asus va32aq (which is really bad for photo).

So, would you prefer this 27 Dell display or this 32 LG?

BTW I have a macbook pro 2020.

thanks

I haven't see the Dell yet but I do own a LG 32UN880-B and it's really good for photo editing. After calibration I got 1.1 dE. Colors are very accurate and you get lot of screen real state to work with. In my case, currently I do more text than photo editing so I went with a pair of ASDs and the LG 32UN880-B is now in my bedroom setup but if your budget is limited, I think the 32UN880-B is going to work really well for you.

So you had to calibrate it? I read that the Dell is already calibrated (series U).

I don't have a spyderx and I'm not sure I wanna spend another $200-300 for this.

You don't need to calibrate it but calibration is almost mandatory with any display if you are a serious photographer anyways. The LG 32UN880-B has it's own calibration software and it works with a few colorimeters available, including the SpyderX.

thanks.

I'm an amateur photographer, I don't make any money out of this so I try to limit my expense :D

Hi
did you receive it ? are you happy with your Dell ?
I own a Mac Mini M1 and i want to replace my Dell U2415 by a 27"

my only requirements: 27", thin bezel, great colors...

I was wondering if this is the one...

I am just curious. Does the Dell Manager software work with the M1 models? Does the display goes to sleep when the computer goes to sleep?
