I uploaded all my photos from my Mac to iCloud photo library and chose optimize for device for iPad and iPhone. But when I select a photo to view on those devices I see a timer which seems to be showing that that photo is being downloaded to the device which I assume means that the full resolution version is being downloaded. Is that correct? If that is so, eventually I am going to fill up my devices with photos and i don't want to do that.
