Photo of the Day is intended to be a showcase for your best pictures. I don't see why you would want to post a NASA picture, especially without any comments.
 
One of my favourite buildings, the almshouses at Stydd, in Lancashire. The architect started off with a simple brick building, divided into living areas for 'six poor widows of the parish'... but then added three arches and a set of steps that should have Fred Astair and Ginger Rogers dancing down them. Bizarre. The building dates from 1728; I've never seen anything else like it.

It's still lived in. Here are two of the tenants, just returned from the shops...

Not eaxactly what i wanted to get as an end result but still acceptable IMHO.


EXIF: 2 frames, ISO 100, f9, 1/8 seconds, tripod AutoExposure lock and a polarizer.
